Getting Started

  1. Login with your credentials at the provided URL.
  2. Complete your company profile setup.
  3. Add your first property and units.
  4. Begin onboarding tenants and issuing leases.

Contact Management

  1. Navigate to Contacts from the left sidebar.
  2. Select a category such as Tenants, Vendors, or Partners.
  3. Click Add Contact and enter the necessary details.
  4. Assign appropriate labels or tags to segment contacts.
  5. Click Save to finalize and store the contact record.

Unit Management (Update)

  1. Go to Units under the Properties section.
  2. Select the relevant property and locate the unit.
  3. Click Edit to modify unit attributes like size, rent, and description.
  4. Add media such as images or floor plans if required.
  5. Save changes to keep the unit information updated.

Lease Management (Renew or Terminate)

  1. Access the Lease Agreements module.
  2. Search for the lease using filters (tenant name, unit ID, etc.).
  3. Open the lease record and review the current terms.
  4. To renew: click Renew and set the new period and rent details.
  5. To terminate: click Terminate and provide a reason if prompted.
  6. Save the action and notify stakeholders as required.

Payment Processing (Utility)

  1. Open the Payments module and select Utility as the category.
  2. Click Add Payment and select the payer (tenant or company).
  3. Fill in the utility details including amount, service month, and reference number.
  4. Choose the payment mode (M-Pesa, bank transfer, cash).
  5. Click Submit to save and generate an optional receipt.

Financial Reporting

  1. Go to the Reports section.
  2. Select the desired report type (e.g., Income, Expenses, Tenant Balances).
  3. Set filters such as date range, property, or payment method.
  4. Click Generate to preview the report.
  5. Use the Download option for PDF or Excel exports.

Landlord Ledger

  1. Navigate to the Landlord Ledger under the Finance section.
  2. Select the desired landlord from the list or use filters.
  3. View summarized transactions including rent received, commissions deducted, and balances.
  4. Use date filters to generate ledger details for specific periods.
  5. Click Export for PDF or Excel format to share or archive records.
